School work delivered to students on Monday, April 6th and Special Offering from PTCI if you don't currently have Internet.

NEW - ALL CHILDREN AGES 0 THROUGH 18 AND STUDENTS IN SCHOOL OVER 18 MAY RECEIVE BREAKFAST AND LUNCH MEALS FREE OF CHARGE. ANY CHILD IN A HOME IN THE HARDESTY PUBLIC SCHOOL BOUNDARIES OF ANY AGE MAY RECEIVE A MEAL.

NEW - PTCI has offered to help with Internet access for students who do not currently have Internet at home. If you would like to take advantage of a special offer to get Internet connected in your home, call PTCI at 580-338-2556 and speak to a customer service representative and apply for internet service.
NOTE:  It is important for you to explain that you are needing Internet due to the school being shut down because of the COVID-19 for the rest of the year. I hope this will help you in this time of need.

NEW - Use of Storm Shelter:

Anyone entering the storm shelter does so at their own risk. The Coronavirus (COVID-19) may exist within the shelter. There is no way to know for certain if any individual is or is not a carrier of the virus. Take necessary precautions if possible while in the shelter.

Delivery of School Meals
 
~  By policy of the Child Nutrition Department of the State Department of Education, no food when delivered can be left outside or on the ground. All students receiving the meals must be present at the time of delivery. 
 
~  Breakfast is expected to be delivered beginning at 8:00 AM Monday through Friday.
 
~  Lunch is expected to be delivered beginning at 11:00 AM Monday through Friday.

Yesterday, Gov. Kevin Stitt amended his executive order, which includes some important information for school districts in counties with positive COVID-19 cases that will be covered under an order effective at 11:59 tonight. It’s important to note his order closing non-essential businesses in those counties exempts K-12 workers involved in distance learning or school meals. School Board Elections Postponed
 
A new resolution is being included in a special board meeting scheduled for Wednesday, March 25, 2020 at 2 PM to address the need to move board elections from April 7, 2020 to June 30, 2020. This means no changes will occur in the structure of Hardesty's Board of Education. Appointments can be made without being affected by the change in the board election date.
